I’m a PhD student at UCL, where I’m studying astrophysical neutrinos to learn more about our universe. The experiment I work on is called P-ONE, the Pacific Ocean Neutrino Experiment, and I’ve been lucky enough to help assemble parts of it, although I work primarily on software, data, & phenomenology.

I’ve been involved in education and science outreach my whole adult life, and after my undergraduate degree I qualified as a secondary school teacher and taught for a few years. I loved it, but I missed higher education and my own learning, so I decided to return to university, first for my Master’s degree. But to make sure I get my teaching fix I do ample TAing and outreach alongside my doctoral studies.

I also share about my life as a disabled queer woman in STEM, and work to make STEM spaces more accepting and accessible. One way I do this is through my social media, where I share about my experiences as a PhD student, good and bad, alongside my science content and silly trends.
